Notes
Sinus Hyperbolicus and Cosinus Hyperbolicus are mathematical hyperbolic functions, also called hyperbolic sine or hyperbolic cosine; as functions they carry the symbols sinh and cosh. The hyperbolics of the cosine describes, among other things, the course of a rope suspended at two points. Its graph is therefore also called catenoid (chain line).
